Sargess, a dry desert-island, is the home of the god Nor. There is little to be said for the landscape, though along rivers and the coasts enough small shrubs grow to support migrant animals. The people of Sargess follow their food, living a nomadic lifestyle and having no permanent settlements, apart from a few ports along the West coast. Occasionally jutting out from the sandy landscape are rocky craigs, hinting at being much larger beneath the shifting sands. Small amounts of minerals can be found in these outcroppings, but most importantly they contain a high amount of gold deposits, which Sargessians mine as quickly as possible before the next sandstorm buries their prize. Sargess is also home of the renowned Rathskrikes (or just Skrike), and produces some of the most loyal soldiers, many joining the King’s elite army, the Sentinels. Sargessians often tend to be reserved, sincere, and harbor a great passion for stargazing and philosophizing.
